Being active daily provides tons of benefits. From a healthy heart to boosting your creativity, daily movement is essential to living healthfully. One simple way that we can achieve this is by incorporating daily walks while we are at work. Whether it is before work, during your lunch, or after work, a quick 15-minute stroll can reduce stress, improve your mood, and provide an energy boost!
The Employee Wellness Division has created a listing of walking routes for most of Santa Clara County Buildings. These are meant to be a resource guide for you to encourage physical activity at your work location. Exact distance and routes may vary based on your preference and experience.
Click below to learn more about our walking routes, general safety tips, as well as a step-by-step guide on how to create your own walking routes at your workplace.
Walking is a great way to incorporate active breaks into your days. View our listing of walking routes and click on your building address to see the map from the MapMyFitness website.
Safety of our County employees is our main priority. Follow these safety tips to make your walks more enjoyable and to keep you walking safely for years to come.
